Joanna Magik, with her two-tone hair and athletic energy, is a rising force on the North American dance music scene, with standout sets that blend house, techno, and bass. A former pro snowboarder and Olympic sports announcer, Joanna Magik now channels that same high‑octane energy into releases on Dirtybird, Box of Cats, Glasgow Underground, Space Yacht and more. Her punchy productions have earned support from Claude VonStroke, Kyle Watson, Biscits, Black V Neck, and more. 

She’s a Pete Tong x Apple Music mix winner, named “Future of Dance” by 1001Tracklists, and selected by LP Giobbi as an Artist Fellow for Miami Music Week. Joanna is also the resident DJ for the NHL’s Calgary Flames, splitting her time between Calgary and Los Angeles. She’s played Miami Music Week, Amsterdam Dance Event,  Shambhala, Badlands, JUNOFest, Festival D’Ete, Dirytbird CampOut and CampINN and club sets at iconic venues Audio SF, Academy LA, Avalon Hollywood, and Toronto’s CODA. She’s also a proud ambassador for Femme House and Change the Beat, mentoring underrepresented voices in dance music.
