Joanna Magik, with her two-tone hair and athletic energy, brings a dynamic presence to every stage with her high-energy performances, seamlessly blending house, techno, and bass. With releases on influential labels Dirtybird Records, Box of Cats, Glasgow Underground, Farris Wheel, Retail Records,and Westwood she’s making her mark on the dance music scene, performing at events like Miami Music Week, Amsterdam Dance Event, and premier festivals and clubs including Badlands, Chasing Summer, JUNOFest, Festival D’Ete, Shambhala, Academy L.A., Exchange L.A., and Audio San Francisco.

Her tracks have been featured on Spotify’s Dance Rising, Bangers and Operator playlists, and have earned airtime on Diplo’s Revolution and Insomniac Radio. A 2023 Pete Tong x Apple Music mix winner and named 2023’s Future of Dance by 1001Tracklists, Joanna is actively shaping the future of house music.

As the resident DJ for the NHL’s Calgary Flames, Joanna brings her energetic sound to sports arenas alongside her festival stages. She also volunteers with Femme House and Change the Beat, teaching DJ and Ableton workshops to promote gender diversity in dance music. Her background as a professional athlete and sports announcer, including for the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games, fuels her passion for health, movement, and empowerment.
